No wonder JK Rowling did so well... Is this what the Bella girl is in the Twilight books? is that why they're successful?

Actually, I'd say Harry Potter is Tom Sawyer, but without the smarts or the American edge. Neo is Huckleberry Finn. And what about Tom Brown, of "Tom Brown's Schooldays" fame?
